For Investors

Company knowledge that doesn't leave when people do.

Theo is an AI knowledge system that captures the institutional knowledge companies lose every time someone leaves — the process nobody wrote down, the decision only one person remembers, the exception that lives in one inbox.

The problem

Every company has the same hidden failure mode: the real "how things work" knowledge lives in Slack DMs, one person's inbox, or nobody's head at all. Existing AI tools summarize documents that already exist — none of them go looking for the knowledge that was never written down in the first place. That gap, between what a company has documented and what it actually knows, is expensive and invisible until someone leaves.

What Theo does differently

Theo connects to the tools a company already uses — Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, Notion — and extracts structured "skill cards": named processes with an owner, a confidence score, and a flag for what's missing or undocumented. When it finds a gap, it automatically generates an interview and reaches out on Slack to capture that knowledge directly from the person who has it, before it's lost. That capture mechanism — not just retrieval — is the core differentiator from enterprise search tools and generic AI assistants, which only work with what's already been written down.

Where things stand

Pre-revenue. The product is fully built — source ingestion, AI skill extraction with confidence scoring, automated gap detection, an expert-interview capture pipeline, a Slack-native bot, analytics, and seat-based billing are all live. Access is currently gated behind a waitlist while we build demand ahead of a broader rollout. A live, fully interactive demo is available at meettheo.ai/demo — no signup required.

Market context

Enterprise knowledge management is an active, funded category — enterprise search platforms and AI workplace assistants have both raised significant capital recently, validating that companies will pay for AI-native tools built around their internal knowledge. Theo is positioned differently from both: not a search layer over existing documents, and not a task-execution agent, but the capture mechanism that makes sure the knowledge exists to search or act on in the first place.
