Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Theo, a knowledge management platform operated by Theo.ai ("Theo," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Theo, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Theo connects to sources you authorize (such as Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, and Notion), extracts and indexes operational knowledge, and lets your team query that knowledge. You control which sources are connected and may disconnect them at any time.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Organization administrators are responsible for managing member access and roles within their organization.

You retain ownership of all content and data you connect to or upload into Theo ("Customer Data"). We do not claim ownership over Customer Data. You grant us a limited license to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to: (a) use Theo to process data you do not have the rights to share; (b) attempt to access another organization's data; (c) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying models or source code; (d) use the Service to build a competing product; or (e) use the Service in violation of applicable law.

Theo uses large language models to extract and summarize information and to answer questions. AI-generated answers may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should not rely on Theo as the sole source of truth for decisions with legal, financial, safety, or compliance consequences without independent verification.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis as described at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated otherwise. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

You may stop using Theo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you first except where prohibited or where immediate action is required to protect the Service or other users.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Theo.ai will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice before they take effect. Continued use of Theo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
